Introducing the Lingua Verbum UI Overhaul
A full product redesign with a consistent component system, improved typography, dark mode, and deeper learning stats.
Today we are rolling out one of the biggest visual and usability updates in Lingua Verbum so far: a complete UI overhaul across the platform.
Over time, our interface had grown inconsistent. Some screens looked polished, others looked unfinished, and the overall experience felt mismatched. This update rebuilds the product on a modern component foundation so everything now feels cleaner, more consistent, and easier to use.
A More Cohesive Home Experience
Our Home screen now has a clearer visual hierarchy, better spacing, and components that feel unified instead of pieced together.

Reader and Library Views, Refined
Reading is central to Lingua Verbum, so we redesigned book and article views to reduce visual noise and improve focus.

We also refreshed the video experience with cleaner controls, improved layout consistency, and a more modern look across interactive elements.

Typography That Finally Matches
Previously, parts of the app mixed serif and sans-serif styles in ways that made the interface feel inconsistent and harder to scan. We now use a standardized type system throughout the product, with more legible sizing and spacing that supports longer study sessions.
Dark Mode Is Here
Many learners asked for a lower-light experience, especially for evening study. Dark mode is now available across the app.
New Progress Stats That Matter
We expanded progress tracking so you can measure your learning with more precision.
You can now track:
- Audio listening time
- Words read
- Words clicked
Each metric is also broken down by top resources, so you can see exactly where your progress is coming from.
Why This Matters
This overhaul is not only about aesthetics. A cleaner, more consistent interface reduces friction, helps learners stay focused, and makes advanced features easier to discover and use.
This is the new baseline for Lingua Verbum, and it sets us up to ship future features faster while keeping the experience polished.
